What's happening this weekend?

Friday, September 5:
Tonight Student Involvement will be hosting Live Band Karaoke in the Social Hall from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Bring your friends, let loose, and sing to your favorite songs with a live band performing the music. This is the ultimate Rock Star opportunity for everyone to come out, show their talent, and have their moment of fame!

Saturday, September 6:
The women's tennis team will be hitting balls at Concordia Saturday. The tennis starts at 10:00 a.m. so be there and be square to support the Stars.
Soccer, anyone?
The Dominican Stars' Men's Soccer Team will be playing at 1:00 at the West Campus Soccer Field against North Park University. Come support the guys at the get closer and closer to the playoff games! Arrive early for a tail-gating party with former and currently injured Star soccer players. You can also come out and check out the new bleachers that were just finished this week (but at least say that you're there to support the guys)!!
Student Involvement will be selling tickets to a professional soccer game for only $10! The Chicago Fire will host the New York Red Bulls at 7:30 p.m. at the Toyota Park Stadium in Chicago. Experience the same excitement of a professional sports team at only a fraction of the cost. Tickets are still available in the office of Student Involvement.
The Women's Volleyball team will be competing in a tournament this weekend!! The tournament will be at Illinois Wesleyan University. Watch the girls spike against Illinois Wesleyan at 10:00 a.m. and then against Carthage College at 2:15 p.m. The girls won their first tournament game against Benedictine University 3-1. Star power!

Sunday, September 7:
The Women's Soccer team will be competing against Elmhurst College. Take the short drive to Elmhurst College to watch the women strut their stuff at 2:00 p.m. Although the girls lost the meet yesterday, they're pumped up for this one! Come cheer on the ladies of DU!
